Viking Vomiting
Ever since the Vikings left the shores of Scandinavia in their small,
unsteady boats, people from the north-western part of Europe have had
a special relationship to travelsickness bags. Sadly, the plague wiped
out just about half the population in the 14th century, and at the
same time simply wore out the bags that had been in use for a long
time. My collection therefore mostly consists of paper devices from
the period 1389-1995.
