Shri A R Rahman on his musical inspiration and influences. Music
composer A R Rahman received the Padma Shri in the civil honours awarded
this week. He's the musician and keyboard whiz who's just announced
plans for a stage musical in London with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Rahman's father was Malayalam film music composer R K Shekhar. Rahman
won a scholarship to the Trinity College of Music in London. He then
worked with musicians like Ilayaraja and Shiva Mani before composing the
hit music for Mani Ratnam's Roja, which put his very original brand of
music on the film map. His biggest non-film hit is the memorable Vande
Mataram....

what is the truth, we asked
friends of a r rahman.
The "ekam satyam" duet made for michael Jackson was been a
sucssfull work. The songs was a good hit in europe.
Ekam satyam, gave
him chance to come in touch with Andrew Llyod, on of englands mostly
"talked about man". Also the taal album is a mega hit in england.
That he is going to london is true, but that has other reasons. 1st, He is going to make a album with many other
performers. 2nd, He also wants some months of rest from tiredness. The
3rd reason is that he is going to travel with one another unknown man to iraq and
from there to other "islam" countries. This is of course by
relgious matters.
Shanker and other singers of rahman says that the news is rumor. Anuradha Sriram said that how somebody can
imaginate like this! It`s not true, and it can not be true is her word on this.
