To all GTF students,
Please note the following about Vertical Checking Kick:
1. It is a new technique developed by GrandMaster Park for use in Jee-Goo and Jook-Am.
2. It is a blocking kick that is executed like Hooking Kick (Golcho Makgi) with the following differences:
a. The blocking foot is held in a vertical position at the moment of contact.
b. A side kick is delivered, from the point of contact in the block, without reloading the leg from the block.
The block, and the side kick are counted separately in Jee-goo.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion about Vertical Checking Kick.
Sincerely,
Master Tompkins
