I'm intrigued by the science of managing groups of people and obtaining the best possible teams and facilitate the best possible overall IT solutions. Of particular interest is documentation and recognition of "best practice". As I see it patterns, is a way of trying to get there. Particularly interesting are the design patterns as described by Gamma et al in "Patterns of Reusable Object-Oriented Software". If you're looking for a good way of learning patterns, have a look at this link. I've found it very interesting. I'm also interested in the business of trading - especially energy such as
oil & gas - which is my field of expertise. Here I find the financial
instruments particularly interesting. There really seems to be a lot of good
links and information on this field out there. The problem is that the
information is scattered all around. Feel free to contact
